Deb is a registered nurse with 35 years experience in healthcare, most recently in county public health. She also owned a bridal business for 11 years while being a mother of four. Deb enjoys, sewing, quilting, and baking with her grandchildren.
A native Iowan, she was born in Jefferson, Iowa; graduated from Guthrie Center High School; and received her nursing degree from DMACC. Deb and her husband, Paul, a retired math teacher, have lived in Forest City for 34 years.
Deb is passionate about halting assaults on collective bargaining; public education; health care management; mental health services; and services for children, vulnerable adults, persons with disabilities, and seniors.
